In your organization, there may be a requirement that some employees only work with an Android device and no longer have a fixed Windows workstation. If that's the case, you can install "Xpert-Timer Mobile" on their Android device. This mobile time tracker will then share the data with the Xpert-Timer Pro database in the company.
After you have obtained the module, assign the employee the status "Android users only" in the user administration. This allows the user to synchronize the captured data from his mobile device, but can not log on to the Xpert-Timer System for Windows itself.
The Android user license costs less than half of the Xpert-Timer Enterprise license, but works only with XTSyncServer .
One of the biggest advantages of this solution is that you don't depend on a stable wifi connection in order to track time. The data will be saved in the local data base on your android device and later on, when you have access to the internet, it will be synchronized with the company's database.
After installing the app in the Google Playstore , you will only have to give your employee the Log in mode "Only Android users" in the user manager and you will be able to use it. Now this certain user can use the mobile time record and let it synchronize from his mobile device. However these users can't log in themselves in the central Xpert-Timer system for Windows.
Web-App instead of just the Android user
Alternatively you can use the web applification for Android. Certainly this app will not work if you are not connected to the internet, since it directly adds the data to the companys' database. You will find further information to this applification in the menu XTWeb or rather XTCloudserver.
