XTSyncServer - Data exchange via the Internet

The interface between Android and Windows is the XTSyncServer. It connects your mobile devices (Android or laptop) to the central company database through the local network or the Internet.

When you use your laptop or Android Smartphone for time tracking the data is stored on your device in a database. For Windows systems, this can be a Microsoft Access database, SQLite, MS-SQL, or MariaDB database. The data is saved on your system, even when you don't have an internet connection. This is useful when you're traveling, like on a train, or in areas with weak network connections.

Synchronisation

With just one click, you can exchange the recorded project times with the central Xpert-Timer database. This is done through the XTSyncServer interface using the Internet, a VPN connection, or the company's local network. Rest assured that all your recorded data remains safe within the company.

If you have a stable and fast internet connection, you have an alternative to synchronization: Xpert-Timer Web. It's a browser-based app with fewer features compared to Xpert-Timer Pro, but it allows you to directly write data to the central database and retrieve it from there.
