Two ways to a licence: buy once and use it without a time limit, or rent monthly and cancel whenever you like. All amounts are net prices plus VAT.
Buy or rent?
Purchase licence
Pay once, use it without a time limit. The licence stays yours even if you do not renew the software maintenance — you simply stop receiving new versions. There is no obligation to renew.
From about two years of use, cheaper than renting.
Rental licence
Pay monthly, cancel monthly. Updates are included, so there is no software maintenance package. The number of users can be adjusted.
Good if the number of users still varies or you are just starting out.
Frequently asked questions about pricing
Are the prices net or gross?
Every amount on this page is a net price. VAT is added during the order process as soon as the country is known — 19 per cent within Germany. Companies in the EU with a valid VAT identification number, and buyers outside the EU, pay no German VAT.
What is the software maintenance package?
It covers updates and support for one year. For Xpert-Timer Basic it is a fixed amount, for Pro and Works a rate of the licence value. Renewal is possible every year but never compulsory: without it the version you bought keeps running, you simply stop receiving new ones.
How many users are included in the Pro purchase licence?
The amount applies per user and starts at one. So you pay for exactly as many licences as you have people. More can be added at any time.
What does Works cost in addition to Pro?
As an add-on module to an existing Pro licence, working time tracking costs less than the standalone version, because the groundwork is already in place. The card above names the amount, and the order process shows it again.
Do I need a second licence for browser access?
No. The web licence is already part of Xpert-Timer Pro. You only buy the XTCloudserver, and it runs on your own server — your data never leaves the building.
Can I switch from renting to buying?
Yes. Talk to us before you order — we will look at your running rental licence and tell you how the change works out best for you.
